Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) – Master Level

No test centre is required for any of the three exams. The Data Manager course is the advanced level in Tezzonix Academy's structured threelevel pathway for data management professionals, aligned with DAMA's CDMP framework. It's built around strategic data leadership, architecture, and program management — reflecting the reality that Master-level candidates are typically already leading or significantly influencing data initiatives, not learning the fundamentals of the discipline for the first time.

The Data Manager programme runs across 4 weeks at an advanced pace — the longest of the three levels in Tezzonix Academy's pathway, reflecting both the higher 80% score bar and the additional depth needed across two Specialist areas.

Master is most directly relevant to Head of Data, Chief Data Officer, Data Governance Director, Senior Data Architect, and Data Strategy Consultant roles — positions where you're not just applying data management principles but setting direction for how an organisation manages data at scale. It's also a strong credential for independent consultants and trainers, since it demonstrates both deep DMBOK command and verified, substantial real-world experience to prospective clients.

Yes. Your initial certification is valid for three years, after which DAMA requires annual renewal: an annual maintenance fee, a Data Management Activity Attestation confirming you're still active in the field, and your signature on DAMA's current Code of Ethics.
